Cookies & Tracking
Last updated: 26 April 2026
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on oculusmanagement.co.uk. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
The short version
This site sets no cookies of its own. We do not track you across sessions, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not share any browsing data with advertising networks. Because there are no non-essential cookies and no personal data is collected by our analytics, no consent banner is required under UK PECR or GDPR.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Many sites use cookies to identify returning visitors, store login state, or feed advertising. We have deliberately designed this site to avoid all of that.
Analytics — Plausible
We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are read, what people search for to find us, and roughly where in the world they are. Plausible is independent, EU-hosted (Frankfurt, Germany), open source, and does not use cookies or any other persistent identifier. It does not track users across sites or build advertising profiles.
The UK Information Commissioner's Office has confirmed that this style of aggregate, cookieless analytics does not require user consent under PECR. You do not need to opt in or opt out — there is nothing to opt out of.
If you would still rather not be counted, the simplest options are: enable your browser's "Do Not Track" or built-in tracker blocker, install a content blocker (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, etc.), or use a privacy-focused browser. We will not see you in the aggregate counts.
Third-party embedded content
The contact section of our homepage embeds a Google Maps tile showing our office location. Google may set its own cookies when this iframe loads — these are governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours, and only when the map is rendered. If this matters to you, block third-party cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without the map.
Do Not Track
Most browsers include a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no industry standard for handling it. Because we do not track individual users in the first place, the signal is effectively a no-op on our site.
Changes to this page
We may update this page if the site's analytics or third-party embeds change. The "last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
